Money
Why has almost no one written about
“what actually happened between you and money”?
Because it isn’t flattering.
And it’s dangerous.
Books about how to pursue money offer hope.
They teach methods, frameworks, paths—
they make readers feel:
I could do this too.
That kind of book has always sold well.
But writing about the relationship between people and money
means dismantling illusions.
Illusions of self-worth.
Of shame.
Of compensation.
Even dismantling the assumption of
who I think I am.
Many people feel uncomfortable with that.
And the publishing market instinctively avoids it.
⸻
This gap doesn’t exist because no one thought of it.
It exists because those who could write it
usually can’t.
Because to write this book, at least three things must have happened:
• You have actually encountered money (not just imagined it)
• You have been hurt by it (not just envied it)
• And you have not been defined by it in the end
(the hardest part)
Most books about money stop at the first stage,
or get stuck in the second.
⸻
What’s on the market now mostly falls into three categories:
Method books
How to earn, invest, scale, or turn things around
Success narratives
What I did right—and how you can replicate it
Psychological reassurance
Believe in yourself, attraction laws, positive thinking
All of them tend to circle around the same question
without touching it:
Why do I stop being myself when money enters the picture?
⸻
This book is a fourth category—
a space that has been almost empty.
It doesn’t explain what money is.
It asks:
• What happened to me when money appeared
• Who am I when money isn’t there
• When did I start using money to judge myself
• When did I finally return money to its place as a tool
This is not a book that creates illusion.
It creates clarity.
⸻
It won’t make you rich overnight.
But it may be the first time you realize:
I’ve been using money to deal with something else.
This book is not for those still chasing money.
It’s for those who have reached it—
and stopped long enough to ask:
“What are we actually doing here?”
